Sunday, November 30th, 2008Black Friday Sucks…when you work
Friday, November 28th, 2008So apparently everyone in America are going nutty nuts. They are out shopping even with this bad economy. Well, I guess this could potentially help our economy but we’ll just have to wait and see. I cannot stand working on black friday. I literally walk out of my store to go on break and see people with bags running around with there kids. Spoiled brats lol….
For those of you who have never seen the actual definition of black friday here it is courtesy of Wikipeida.org
Black Friday is the Friday after Thanksgiving in the United States, where it is the beginning of the traditional Christmas shopping season. Since Thanksgiving falls on the fourth Thursday in November in the United States, Black Friday may be as early as the 23rd and as late as the 29th of November.
Black Friday is not an official holiday, but many employees have the day off, which increases the number of potential shoppers. Retailers often decorate for the Christmas season weeks beforehand. Many retailers open very early (typically 5 am or even earlier) and offer doorbuster deals and loss leaders to draw people to their stores. Although Black Friday, as the first shopping day after Thanksgiving, has served as the unofficial beginning of the Christmas season at least since the start of the modern Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in 1924, the term “Black Friday” has been traced back only to the 1960s.

Thursday, November 27th, 2008Cheers. Happy Thanksgiving
Thursday, November 27th, 2008Happy Thanksgiving everyone. It’s been a great year so far and can’t wait for what’s to come. I hope your all eating lots of turkey. If I was back at my moms in Manchester, NH I would be fat as all hell. This Thanksgiving I’m with my girl at her grandfathers in Malibu. We should have a great time. Of course I can’t be as fortunate as some. You know like people in Puerto Rico (troy & craig). Haha bastards :) love ya
Everyone be safe.
Youtube does wide screen?
Wednesday, November 26th, 2008Hey check it out people. Youtube has finally come to there senses and have made there videos widescreen capable. There are many other websites out there doing this. It’s a shame the original viral video website has to do it so late. Well better late then…well…bankrupt? Hopefully they up there technology too because I see other sites like Hulu.com taking them down in the distant future.
Kristen Stewart a Pot Head?
Wednesday, November 26th, 2008Apparently Kristen Stewart (Bella) of Twilight likes to smoke the dube. Not really attractive Kristen sorry. I’m sure a lot of the parents that are a fan of the series because of there daughters aren’t going to be very happy either. Good luck trying to talk your way out of this one. At least smoke in your house not on the steps of your place. What you don’t think the Paparizzi have long lenses??? haha
Twilight (2008)
Tuesday, November 25th, 2008
Directed by: Catherine Hardwicke
Cast:
Kristen Stewart as Bella Swan
Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen
Theatrical Release: November 21st, 2008
Synopsis: TWILIGHT is an action-packed, modern-day love story between a teenage girl and a vampire. Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) has always been a little bit different, never caring about fitting in with the trendy girls at her Phoenix high school. When her mother re-marries and sends Bella to live with her father in the rainy little town of Forks, Washington, she doesn’t expect much of anything to change. Then she meets the mysterious and dazzlingly beautiful Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), a boy unlike any she’s ever met. Edward is a vampire, but he doesn’t have fangs and his family is unique in that they choose not to drink human blood. Intelligent and witty, Edward sees straight into Bella’s soul. Soon, they are swept up in a passionate, thrilling and unorthodox romance. To Edward, Bella is what he has waited 90 years for – a soul mate. But the closer they get, the more Edward must struggle to resist the primal pull of her scent, which could send him into an uncontrollable frenzy. But what will Edward & Bella do when a clan of new vampires – James (Cam Gigandet), Laurent (Edi Gathegi) and Victoria (Rachelle Lefevre) – come to town and threaten to disrupt their way of life?
My Review: I was shockingly surprised with this one. Walking into the movie I had some excitement because of all the buzz it was getting. It has an excellent cast with an overall awesome love story. This is probably the first successful teen vampire movie made. I highly recommend it. Can’t wait for the future movies.
Overall Rating: A
