Bummer! For having so much buzz, Martin Scorsese’s Shutter Island will be pushed back for months. The release date is now February 2010 and no longer October 2009. This could be because of lack of budget or possibly Leo being able to promote the film. I wonder if it will hurt the films buzz. I’ve been excited since I’ve seen the trailers. If they don’t keep up the promotion until next year I’ll probably forget about it. I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

Oh and let’s not forget it will be out of the Oscar running. BOOOOO!
