Honest Abe was always known to be cool and collect. Even during the Civil War he was able to reach a level head over defeat or triumph. Was he always this way? The answer is no.

This makes me think about the pills we are fed these days. Doctors will mix and match pills saying things like, “well the blue will counter the yellow, but then the yellow will give you diarrhea so you should take this pink one 5 times a day.” How in the hell are we suppose to know what will cure us or mess with our body in the not so distant future?

This is a lesson that no matter who you are, how much money you may have, or what awareness you possess, we’re all screwed. Next time you go to the doctor make sure you ask him what the long term side effects could be. See what he says. Most of the time they are just out to make a quick buck.
