Full webpage capture with just a few clicks

No more stiching together pieces of a website. There’s an easier way.

Little Snapper by RealMacSoftware. Gotta check it out. Not only does it snap webpages but the program will let you catalogue what you captured all neat and clean in it’s own library. The program reminds me of iPhoto with its ease. Other then it capturing the webpage for you it also gives you a set of tools to draw. Use an arrow to point out a design flaw, or just enter some text to explain something. Whatever you can imagine.

Mad TV’s iPad skit has been reignited

Friday, January 29th, 2010

It seems as though Apple’s iPad won’t be getting a break anytime soon from all of it’s teasing and name calling. Mad TV had a sketch about it 5 years ago saying the iPad was used as a more advanced Maxi pad.

Check out the video below from MadTV:

You have to admit the video is really well done and funny. I’m sure even Apple can laugh at that. I don’t think it will mess with the products success. I’m real excited to try out the iBooks application. Can’t wait.

Here is a video with Arden Myrin (actress) and writer of the skit Bruce McCoy:

JoesDaily LLC, Cameron Douglas, and a little bit about the iPad

Thursday, January 28th, 2010

2010 has started off pretty awesome so far. After meeting with my tax man Rick I’m super excited about what JoesDaily LLC will become. Yes California taxes suck but it will be worth it all in the long run. I also talk a little bit about Michael Douglas son and iPad.

Sick iPhone Video Mount

Wednesday, December 23rd, 2009

The OWLE Video Mount is really badass. If you’re into any type of media like I am you would appreciate this. The cost is somewhat reasonable if you’re looking for a nifty solution to shoot some great video on your iPhone. I’m dying right now not having the 3GS iPhone (shoots video) because I want to be able to take it with me to Vegas next month. Oh well, enough bitching.

Here is a little info about the OWLE Video Mount:

So the mount cost $130. Not too shabby. It fits in the silicon case the package includes which then slips into the mount itself. Oh and it’s cool enough to come with a boom mic which attaches to the iPhones headphone jack. After reading a few reviews some said the boom isn’t that great but who cares? I’m really wondering about the mount itself.

Also comes with a .45x wide angle lense and a 37mm lense. Pretty sweet.

What to do if your iMac screen flickers

Wednesday, December 16th, 2009

So I’ve been browsing the forums only to find a lot of people having problems with their new iMacs. Many have reported in such a short amount of time that their iMac’s screen flickers. Very much like the old CRT monitors. I for one can shed some light on the situation since my iMac has done the same only after 2 days of having it. So far I have found a solution that may not help everyone with this issue. I’ve had no problems since (knock on wood) and hoping it stays this way. So what did I do?

I reset the PRAM. I’m not about to go into what PRAM is but you certainly can google it to find out. I recommend you do so. Here was my steps…

  1. First power off your iMac and unplug everything from the back of it for about 15 seconds. I personally just played a few rounds of Call of Duty and that passed the time rather quickly. (30 minutes later) LOL
  2. Next you will plug back in the power and whatever else needed. (ex: keyboard, mouse, if not wireless).
  3. Here is the important part. You need to hold down 4 keys on your keyboard. No specific order but important. Press and hold the COMMAND + OPTION + P + R. While having your fingers on the keys turn on the power button.
  4. Wait for the chime to happen twice before letting go of those keys. The chime that normally starts the computer must happen at least twice before letting go so don’t forget.

That’s it! Hope this helps some of you out there. Happy iMacing :)
