Review: This to me blows Loopt out of the water. I guess I’m a sucker for sexy interfaces. GoWalla is a fantastic way to update your current location. Some may find this weird and unnecessary but in the end it’s cool to look back at your ‘passport’ as they call it and see where you’ve been. (Tip: Not good if you’re married or have a stalker). I love that it can link right to my twitter. When I checkin somewhere I’m able to have it automatically post to my twitter. Sweet.

Also another neat thing is the swag. As you come along a new place or even a place you’ve visited just the other day you can trade an item. You leave one item from your pack, and pick up another one. For example today I went to work and dropped off a ‘t-shirt’ for some ‘dark chocolate’. May sound weird but it’s a fun little add-on.

Review: Okay so the US is in a recession and you saving a buck could mean a whole lot in the long run right? You can stop taking your high blood pressure meds with the help from this genius application. Courtesy of Greg Grunberg from the hit show Heroes comes YOWZA!! An application which shows you coupons in your area. These aren’t your typical newspaper coupons. They are specific only to Yowza!! The unique application gives you specific sales and special offers. I’ve already used it for good when I had a coupon for 15% off the entire Container Store. Sweet!

Review: Gasp! That is the sudden reaction I had when I saw my buddies review over at RobotForest. Hulu the champion of online media has made a desktop version of it’s website. Now before you get your panties in a bunch and rush off to download said application read the rest of the review.
I have much confidence in Hulu and everything that they do. Although, the application does need to beef up it’s layout to be a tad easier. I consider myself very computer savy and can figure something out within a few seconds or a minute. When I opened the Hulu Desktop the first time I realized it was a tad janky.
Well enough of my ranting. Knowing Hulu and it’s creative lab team I’m sure the will send out an update after people start to review the app more and more. Go check it out for yourself…oh and for you lame PC users they do have a version even for you :)

Review: Houston..we have a problem. I’ve found something EVEN better then TweetDeck (sorry tweetdeck creators). My buddy recommended Tweetie today on his Twitter and I just had to try it. Now there are 2 versions. One is paid and the other isn’t. The difference is ads. If you hate ads like I do you will choose to pay for it. Otherwise enjoy the free app. The only thing Tweetie doesn’t do oppose to TweetDeck is Facebook Status updates. I personally don’t care about this. I’m on my Facebook as much as my Twitter so to me those updates are useless. Oh and don’t forget that Tweetie is also an iPhone/iPod Touch app too!!!

Review: I’m a social networking nut so when I heard about TweetDeck I got super excited. It integrates your Twitter, Facebook, and others. So far I only use it for Facebook and Twitter. Those are my top two social networking tools. It has a sleek interface and runs like a champ. Currently it’s in Beta so if you find errors report them. Anything can help their product get even better.
