Review: I was lucky enough to attend the grand opening of LUNCH. Such a fantastic restaurant. Right in the heart of Culver City, LUNCH provides you with whatever you can imagine. If you enjoy creating your own sandwich or salad, then this is the place for you.
Chef Sal and Owner Michelle are two of the nicest people I’ve met. Tell them JoesDaily has sent you if you have the chance to eat at LUNCH. Oh and if you’re like me and hate the LA parking situation, don’t fret. Free parking right behind the restaurant. SCORE!

In Rare Form is an understatement

I had the pleasure of seeing my friends improv group ‘In Rare Form‘ perform last night in Santa Monica at ‘The Westside Comedy Theater‘. This talented bunch was really In Rare Form with their witty humor. My best bud Lander Yeoman has always made me crack up and I regret not seeing their show sooner.
You must see their show next time they perform. Oh and good news! They perform once a week so make sure you go and support them.

Hey kids! It’s time for you to support a brotha. A bunch of friends and myself entered a contest. It’s called Dorito’s Crash the Superbowl. We submitted 4 30 second commercials and would really appreciate it if you would go on and watch them. Pretty much the way this all works is Doritos will pick the top 6 they think best fit for their Superbowl commercial. Then fans votes will be tallied up. That tally will create the top 3 winners. Kevin’s Halloween costume is sick!

Man, leave it to my best bud to out-due anyone else. He didn’t buy it either. Mask was made using an old T-shirt, ink, and a good sew job. Gotta love his arts and crafts skills. Oh and also the jacket was picked up from a thrift store somewhere on Melrose. If you where not aware of who this is it’s Rorschach from Watchmen. Bad ass!
Amii & Josh’s Wedding

On October 11th I shot photos in Studio City for Amii & Josh’s wedding. It was a blast. Kevin and I both owned it! Kevin was my assistant and he was taking care of the printing of the photos while I was shooting tethered. Tethered meaning directly connected to the MacBook Pro. I used Aperture. Okay so I know I’ve been absent and most posts haven’t been really personal but I’ll be back in action shortly. The reason of my absence is for a good cause. My good friend whom I met at my teaching gig has given me a chance to update her website to be somewhat similar to mine. When I say similar to mine I’m talking about it being database driven via Blogging Software. I’m SUPER excited for everyone to see the newly release of ‘Dining With Dogs.com‘. It should be completed rather soon so stay tuned. If you’re a dog lover or know of dog lovers please pass the site around. We both feel it’s important for there to be a dog friendly website out for all dog lovers. I really feel that the new website will open up so many doors for Liz.
