Doom 4 sees the light of day at E3 2015 after being stuck in development since its 2008 announcement. The 8-minute gameplay trailer reminds us why we love this over-the-top gruesome first-person shooter. Pioneering the same video game violence we’ve come to love with the original Doom in 1993, the latest installment has that and more with its id Tech 6 game engine, which Doom 4 is the first game to utilize the engine. Look out, Unreal!

The lengthy gameplay reveal features all the guns and special moves we could want from the Doom franchise. That of course includes the famous chainsaw, which we see used to mow down various enemies in different ways.

Look for Doom 4 to ship in spring 2016 on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. If you can’t wait until then, go pre-order your copy today on Amazon.
