If you’ve been following what’s going on in Detroit at NAIAS today, you probably heard some buzz about Ford‘s next-generation GT. The legendary car gets a major upgrade, taking cues from its European competitors. The engine however, is pure Ford muscle drawing 600 horsepower from a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 — making it the most powerful EcoBoost ever created. In addition to the new engine, the GT includes carbon-ceramic brakes, carbon monocoque body, and Pilot Super Sport Cup 2 Michelin tires.

Be on the lookout for Ford GT to hit the streets sometime in late 2016.
