One of the worst feelings is that sore throat you get right before a cold is about to start. Running my own business leaves me with little to no time to be sick. We all know how fast being ill can turn a productive day into a curled up day on the couch, eating soup, and watching TV. But this doesn’t have to be the case.

Vicks DayQuil and NyQuil Severe has always been my go to relief for whatever ails me. Since I travel so much, and am exposed to more germs than I care to think about, I carry it with me wherever I go.

Here is a prime example of where the dynamic duo (DayQuil/NyQuil) have saved the day, and week for that matter. I flew to Boston from LA for my cousin’s wedding. This was just after I arrived home from Jamaica on a business trip. My body, my soul, and mind were in various places. Upon landing in Bean Town, I felt a slight cold coming on. That evening I decided it was best to get a good nights sleep. Knowing how my body is — yes I’m fragile — I decided it would be wise to use NyQuil Severe so I didn’t wake up. When I’m sick I tend to wake up a bunch which affects my RIM sleep. No bueno! The next morning I woke up refreshed and ready to go. Since it was wedding day, and I didn’t feel 100% yet, I took DayQuil Severe. This gave me the energy to power through the entire day and enjoy my cousin’s big day.

My life, whether it be work or play — sometimes both — is very important to me. Since I love my job, I’m working 24/7 and wouldn’t have it any other way. So as I said before, I don’t have time to be sick. DayQuil and NyQuil Severe will always be by my side at the first sign of a sneeze, tickle in the throat, or worst, when I have cold and flu symptoms.
