From May 29-31st, Bud Light took over the city of Avalon on Catalina Island and it was quite the spectacle. I was lucky enough to be one of the media to cover the event, among 1,300+ contestant winners flown from all around the United States because they were Up For Whatever.

Welcome Parade & Diplo Beach Party
After checking in at San Pedro Port, we boarded the ferry that would take us to Catalina Island, where we were greeted with cold Bud Light and VERY enthusiastic contestant winners. The official start to the Whatever, USA 2.0 weekend kicked-off with a welcome parade and performance by T-Pain.

Snoop Dogg Hands Out Hot Dogs and Girl Talk Closes Out the Night
Despite getting little sleep after the night before’s Diplo beach party, I some how mustered up enough energy to join the rest of the masses. Today was the first full day of Whatever, USA, so I knew I had to take full advantage of everything Bud Light had to offer. This included Snoop Dogg handing out hot dogs on low-riders, a Gatsby-like party, and an amazing performance by Girl Talk.
