I love when a product inspires me so much that I just have to write a feature around it. Recently, I had the pleasure of reviewing Basil Hayden’s new Dark Rye and absolutely loved it. From my first sip to the last, I knew I wanted to create a cozy at home post featuring all the products that I love using to, well, make my home as warm and comfortable as possible.

I did my best to pick out items that work well year round and not just based around the colder months. Please feel free to add a few of your favorite cozy at home items in the comments below. Enjoy!

Basil Hayden’s Dark Rye

Basil Hayden's Dark Eye Bourbon Heritage

There’s nothing better than cozying up on the couch with your loved ones and a good glass of whiskey. My current favorite blend to grace my bar is the new Basil Hayden’s Dark Rye. Its color is a deep, rich amber with ruby undertones. The moment you open the bottle you’ll smell oaky notes balanced with dark berries and molasses. As for taste, think caramel with dried fruit and oak with notes of spice.

Morning Culture La Playa Blanket

Morning Culture La Playa Blanket
Morning Culture

Can you truly be cozy without a blanket? The answer is a no, at lease according to my wife. The La Playa Blankets from Morning Culture will do the trick for this cool mornings (or anytime really). Made on in-home looms by artisans in Mexico, each blanket features frilled edges, beautiful patterns on an acrylic, cotton, polyester blend, and a stamped metal tag.

Sydney Hale Bourbon & Brown Sugar Candle

Sydney Hale

As someone who works from home, there is nothing I love more than lighting the Sydney Hale Bourbon & Brown Sugar Candle in my office to kick-off happy hour. Hand-poured in rural Virginia, this delightful smelling candle features a double-wick, 50 hours of burn time, and a silk-screened, apothecary style glass container. Best-of-all? Its goodness doesn’t end when the wax does. Each glass candle doubles as a drinking glass, so start making room in your bar.
