The Nike Flyknit Chukka ($190 USD) was an instant street-style classic when it was originally created back in 2013 as part of the HTM line. A year later it made its first appearance in golf at Sochi, bringing a brand new look to the fairway and a more fashionable edge to the sport.

The method involved in creating the Flyknit enables designers to micro-engineer each stitch of the shoe to create a light, formfitting one-piece upper. This manufacturing process also cuts down on the amount of waste and materials used. Nike uses their Nike Flywire technology to enhance the uppers support and lockdown.

Finally, to officially make the Flyknit golf ready, a Nike Free-inspired sole unit is added. This gives the player superior traction for the toe and heel. The upper is finished off with a thin TPU layer to add water resistance against any light rain and morning dew.

The Flyknit Chukka is available in two colors for men (black/white and racer blue/white) and women (black/white and pink pow/white) at Nike.com and select retailers.
